FAMILIES

Technology is changing childhood. Nobody gave families the rulebook.

Parents are being told to manage screen time, protect privacy, understand AI, watch for online harms and raise responsible digital citizens.

But most of us were never taught how to navigate this either.

Genius Brigade helps children and their grown-ups learn together.

Through stories, missions, challenges and real family conversations, we help families understand emerging technology, practise the human capabilities that matter as technology changes and make thoughtful decisions about how technology fits into their lives.

No fear. No hype. No pretending anyone already has all the answers.

THE HUMAN BRILLIANCE FRAMEWORK

Human brilliance takes practice

Technology will keep getting more capable.

That makes the things humans bring more important: how we think, how we connect with others, and how we grow through challenge and change.

Genius Brigade translates Glamabyte’s Human Brilliance Framework into something families can actually use together.

Every person can practise all nine. There are no fixed types, rankings or “smartest” character.

THINK

Curiosity · Creativity · Critical Thinking

Explore possibilities. Generate ideas. Examine information. Ask better questions.

CONNECT

Kindness · Collaboration · Connection

Understand others. Work together. Build trust and belonging.

GROW

Courage · Resilience · Acceptance

Take action. Learn through difficulty. Adapt and value difference.

MEET THE GENIUS BRIGADE

Different strengths. One mission. Better together.

The characters do not represent fixed personality types.

Each brings a different lens to the problem, and every character can use all nine Human Capabilities.

What changes is what they tend to notice first.

Neon black-and-cyan robot with a magenta smiling face, “BYTE” chest panel, cubes, and orbital rings.

BYTE

BYTE can search, analyse, model and process information incredibly quickly.

He is useful, powerful and sometimes wrong.

He reminds the Brigade that information is not the same thing as understanding, and technology does not replace human judgement.

AL

AL gets things moving. He turns discussion into something the team can test, build or try.

His challenge is learning that leadership does not mean solving everything himself.

Scout

Scout notices what others miss, follows clues and asks the question nobody else thought to ask.

Her challenge is knowing when discovery has given the team enough to act.

Jax

JAX sees relationships between things that can look completely separate to everyone else.

He helps the team understand how the pieces fit together and what might happen next.

Grandpa Russ

Grandpa Russ sits outside the Infinity Gear.

He helps parents and the Brigade connect what happens inside the adventure to the choices, conversations and challenges families face in real life.

THE INFINITY GEAR

Human brilliance gets stronger when different perspectives come together.

AL brings ideas and action.

Scout brings curiosity and possibility.

JAX brings patterns and connections.

BYTE brings information and processing.

None of them is the answer on their own.

When their different contributions come together, the Infinity Gear activates.

It represents the idea at the centre of Genius Brigade:

Different strengths can expand perspective, expose blind spots and lead to better decisions.

Technology can contribute information and amplification.

Humans still bring judgement, meaning, responsibility and the choice of what happens next.

G.L.A.M.A.

A simple way to work through a problem together

Every Genius Brigade mission gives families opportunities to use the same five-step approach:

Get the Facts
What do we actually know?

Learn the Patterns
What connections can we see?

Ask Questions
What might we be missing?

Make a Move
Try something.

Adjust and Improve
What happened, and what will we change?

The framework sits underneath the adventure. Families experience the story, choices and conversation.

We created Genius Brigade because we couldn't find it

From our family to yours

Genius Brigade was created by Tyler Wilkins through his work with Sarah at Glamabyte.

Sarah brings 20 years of transformation experience and a long-running obsession with how people understand and adapt to change.

Tyler came to Glamabyte from almost the opposite direction. He had barely used a computer before joining Glamabyte and now uses AI and digital tools every day to help create the characters and world around Genius Brigade.

That difference matters.

Genius Brigade is built around the belief that people do not need to think the same way to contribute something valuable.

Your first mission starts here

Start with Mission: Operation Imposter and meet the Genius Brigade while your family investigates AI together.

No lectures. No technology degree required.

Just a story, a mission and a better way to start the conversation.

We don't need to know exactly what their future will look like.

We need to help them become capable of navigating it.

The tools will change. The platforms will change. The jobs will change.

What children need from us is bigger than knowing how to use today's technology. They need curiosity to explore it. Critical thinking to question it. Creativity to imagine something better. Connection to understand the people affected by it. Courage to act. Resilience to adapt. And the judgement to decide what role technology plays in their lives.

That is the future Genius Brigade is built for.

Because if technology isn't amplifying human brilliance, it has no reason to exist.
